At age 81, Bill Cosby, one of the beloved and successful entertainers who was dubbed “America’s Dad”, was sentenced in a Pennsylvania courtroom following his April conviction in a sexual assault case.
In April, a retrial found Cosby guilty of three counts of sexual assault for drugging and molesting Andrea Constand in 2004. The actor had been under house arrest since April.
More than 60 women have come forward in recent years to accuse Cosby of sexual misconduct.
Mr Cosby has been sentenced for 3-10 years for sexual assault and request for bail pending appeal was denied.
After the sentencing, he was led away in handcuffs and was driven to Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
