Train Accident Kills 6 People, Injuring Many

The accident took place on Wednesday morning involving a commuter train at the Great Belt Bridge in Denmark. It has been reported that 6 are dead and 16 have been injured. Rescuers are working on freeing around 100 passengers who are trapped on board.

The accident involved two trains, one was a cargo train and the other was a passenger train. Due to heavy winds, one of the containers was blown off the cargo train onto the rails. The driver pulled the brakes but the train failed to come to a sudden stop, crashing into the container blown off from the cargo.

The incident has closed the bridge linking the islands of Zealand and Funen.
