The Canadian town of Roddickton, Newfoundland, has seen an increase in the number of seals in recent weeks. The Newfoundland mayor, Sheila Fitzgerald, is calling on federal Fisheries officials to remove them since they are causing chaos in her town.
These marine mammals have been blocking roads, driveways and doors. Since it is illegal to touch them or move them, residents are unable to take any action by moving them from the road. The police have reported that atleast two have been killed by vehicles.
